Twitter says Zero Hedge has violated its stance on site abuse. Zero Hedge posted a blog on Wednesday that accused a Chinese scientist and strongly suggested without proof that the scientist had developed the coronavirus strain that is currently spreading all over the world.
Zerohedge was and is still one of the leading platforms that shares speculative negative news about Tesla. They were a pain in investors back side back in 2018 when Tesla took a dive that didn’t end until the price of Tesla Share reached about $178.
The blog lists the names, photos, emails, and phone numbers that are reportedly linked to the scientist, and suggested that readers “pay [ him ] a visit” if they wanted to know “what really caused the coronavirus pandemic.” BuzzFeed News reported on Zero Hedge’s blog, which accused the scientist earlier this evening, ahead of the Twitter suspension. According to The Verge.
A link to Zero Hedge’s blog post or information about the scientist to avoid the spread of misinformation, can be found on their website as we won’t be sharing such link here.
Facebook and Instagram also said yesterday they would also remove false claims and conspiratorial theories about coronavirus. Yesterday, the World Health Organization stated that coronavirus is a global public health emergency, and today President Trump has prohibited foreign nationals who have traveled to China in the last 14 days from entering the United States.
