Tesla’ battery supplier based in China is going to resume production next week Monday. Tesla VP Tao Lin also said Tesla will resume work on Monday as well.
LG Chem, an electric vehicle battery manufacturer for Tesla Inc, said on Friday that it intended to partially restart production at its facilities in China on February 10, which had been suspended since the outbreak of coronavirus in February.
According to Reuters: LG Chem added that the program is subject to change. Tesla Vice President Tao Lin said that the launch of the car from his new plant in Shanghai would be temporarily postponed and that the company was preparing to restart. Lin said the company planned to restart production on Feb. 10.
